Has anyone found a way to get the NGK into the head of the YD100 ? You cant tighten it with spark plug socket .. its too tight .. any other suggestions ? I have 2 new NGK's that I want to try …

the head on the NGK is bigger and you have no room to slide the socket onto the spark plug ...

start the plug with your fingers and you'll never crossthread it.
You'll have to cross-reference the ngk plug to another plug with a smaller hex on it. Its unfortunate the ngk are a 13/16 and not 3/4 drive

its not anything to do with cross threading it etc .. The YD100 head ( the hole for the spark plug ) does not have enough clearance to use the bigger headed NGK plug and a socket .. Will take pictures when I go into my shed

Does the cheapy plug wrench that comes with the kit fit? That's what I have to use on the Zoom motor. Either that or grind off some fin.

actually have to try that ... LOL will give that a go today ... it may if the walls are thin
