L locoWelder Guest Jul 25, 2007 #23 are you looking for something like this with pillow block bearings and gokart hubs?

What I was thinking was using two car axles shortened and welded together to allow me to use the existing bolt pattern to mount my wheels up. Do you think this would be too heavy? L locoWelder Guest Jul 26, 2007 #25 yes they would be way too heavy, now you can build this for like 300.00 if you dont have most of the parts..... I've built 7 or 8 of them in the past and they hold up very well, the snowbird's here love them for going around the trailerparks and to the store. but this is as close to what you want that I know of, but I did not build it
