Shipping cost differences aside, I will pay the slightly higher price for the slightly better quality control efforts, often small parts upgrades that you get (often worth way more than the price increase paid), and the warranty that B-E provides. Seeing that people have been sent whole engines when suffering a failure ,I would say that extra cost is worth it just in case.
