Hi cycle enthusiasts,
I have been riding/building/restoring bicycles for almost forty years and have logged at least 100,000 miles on two man powered wheels in my life. I am really enthused about finding this site because I have long wanted a Whizzer but due to the cost of obtaining the real McCoy I have pondered building my own and I'm wanting to find the resources for doing this. Also I need to research the laws about operating this vehicle....seems I found the place! I am going to try and create an authentic retro look to the bike. I also want to build a wood track racer style bike. as I progress through this endevour I will keep a record here with my results. I hope to get to know some of you better as things move along and share some stories while doing so,.
Live to ride,
Doug
