The sprocket in my Dax 67 wouldn't fit over the coaster brake on my Cranbrook. Tried grinding the sprocket so it would fit but couldn't get it to go on correctly. And do i need to locktite the bolts on the motor. This is realy frustrating.

Really suggest you do some reading esp in the sticky's in the 2 cycle section and the mount section (I don't know if that's a frame mount or a rack mount) Highly recommend you replace the original mounting studs and with higher quality ones, and yes lok-tite everything. Use ny-lock nuts everywhere you can, I also replaced the 9 sprocket bolts with 1/4-20 good quality ones too. SBP sells a great bolt/stud kit for 9.95.

Taked the brake arm off. remove the sheet metal dust cover. Grind the edge off of the dust cover until it fits, but just until it fits.

I would not mess with the engine assembly bolts, but I would replace the mounting studs, nuts and all the wheel bolts.

....and read here.

Thanks guys used your tips and its on to the next hurdle. The clutch and clutch cable.
