Does anyone use a bike gps app on there phone while riding to see how fast and how far you went. It could help on figuring out how much gas you used after using for a while and I’m sure there’s other stu that could be interesting

Many of us prefer more accuracy than a GPS phone app. I use a Sigma 14.16 wired bicycle computer. It even has a gradient meter on it. The bicycle computer is located right above a tachometer in which I use to shift my gears by.

Phone apps are fairly accurate today, the linemen use them to run miles of cable.

Tried this on a little trip and it seems ok. It’s a free app anyway

I have used one. It's very convenient. Amazing what these "phones" can do

My problem is I don't trust a phone mount to let loose while I'm going down the road. I can't afford to get a new phone.

I had my phone in my pocket. I don’t trust those mounts either. I just turned on the app and put my phone in my pocket
