I read on here that u couldnt get the chains to match on each side. It took going thru 3 chains to get it right breaking bending ect..... so what i did is measure my ht chain, then cut it half link too short. Then I moved the rear wheel forward to lessen bike pedal chain and connected ht chain together snap shut then pulled wheel back to center to c how much slack each had and they were near same slackness so pull wheel lil tighter and cinched it down test drove rechecked chains slackness readjusted as necessay till chain stayed tougt. so solves the problem of shims or irritating tensioner. I just double check chains every so often as you would n e bike!!!
O and its a bell bicycle chain from Walmart lol.
