I took it out twice yesterday and it went well.
I tried to hook up the speedometer and found that it's missing its magnet. :( The seller is sending one.
I tried to hook up the backrack and as expected, I'm gonna need an adapter since the bike doesn't have braze ons. Ordered the adaptor and it'll be here Friday.

It finally warmed up so yard work has been taking away from my motorbike project.
It's about to get drizzly for a few days so I'm hoping to finish the bike off!

Done:
  • Got a 2.4 gallon tank!
  • Got the magnet for the speedometer
  • Installed the seat post adapter that lets me use my back rack
  • Installed the back rack
To do soon:
  • Install speedometer
  • Loctite the bolts on the backrack and fenders
  • Install handlebar mirror
  • Install tire slime, and tuffy strips
  • Install the 2.4 gallon tank with a strap or two
  • Shorten chain on the left side of the jackshaft
  • Put a tool kit together
    • pump & patches & tire levers & spare tubes
    • precut jackshaft chains & chain tool
    • extra master link
    • hex keys
    • sockets and wrenches
    • screwdrivers
    • Extra brake, shifter and throttle cable
    • ?
To do later:
  • Get a throttle that isn't plastic garbage
  • Get a suspension fork
  • Get better gloves
  • Get motorcycles pants? Kevlar jeans?
  • Install the 2.4 gallon tank in a better way if the strap doesn't seem solid
  • Mess with tach and see if I can get it to work right
  • Get a front rack? Handlebar basket?

Okay I'm back! I stored the bike all summer and now it's back out. It took a little love to make it run again without gas dripping everywhere, but now it's tight.

To do:
  • Get a layback seat extender so I can put the seat a few inches back
  • Install new tach
  • Install speedometer
  • Install mirror
  • Install tire slime
  • Install tuffy strips
  • Install trailer mounts (axle adapters)
  • Get a headlight
  • Tail light?
  • Turn signals?
  • Riding pants?
  • Riding gloves?
  • Horn?
  • Put a proper spare parts/toolkit together
