I almost have all the parts to my next build with the Skyhawk frame (from bicycle-engines). I am contemplating using the motor mounts or sawing them off after reading other people's experience with them. Does the pedestal create a weak spot in the frame for a crack to develop? Just by looking at it it's easy to believe that it would.

My build is looking pretty solid
Skyhawk frame
Marzocchi bomber x fly z1 fork
Mag wheels from bicycle engines
Zeda 80 ported, rejetted, with velocity stack and cone air filter
SBP expansion chamber
Avid BB7 caliper and 203mm front disc
The rest of the bike will come from my cracked cranbrook
