big fat trike. Extremely heavy, has a 5hp 2stroke tecumseh. I will need a governor, but can see my self bypassing it and ventilating the block. I wanted to build something more butchered for a change. It feels good to use pillow block bearings. I will have to build some nerf bars, to stand on. Geared to go 30. I have some turf tires for street use so I don’t tear up my good mud tires with a full spool. I hope I won’t have issues in the area of plowing the front end in a corner. If I do, a peerless diff will make its way in there.

did a few laps around the house, and one really good burnout. started having bogging issues, got so bad, it would only run on choke, or if you constantly primed it. i tried everything, but couldnt get it to run. thought my 3d printed intake was leaking, due to meltage. (2strokes will run on petg!) i made a steel one. still failed. figured it was a crank seal,or bad gasket. it wasnt.

this will be the death of this engine. im not sure the pattent makes it stronger lol

thought i was having crankcase sealing issues. it turded out to be a carb problem. swapped to a chokeless summer carb, w/fixed idle, but adjustable mains. it idles fine, because it came of a similar displacement engine.
crap. all 34 needles fell out of the rod. had to grease em to the crank, and pray none fell off.

engine was full of various crap. rtv chunks, metal shavings (prolly fell in there during fabrication)

oh well it is back together and runs good.

Lmao I seen a bucket of needle bearings!!! 🤣😂🤣 & thought I was going to see pics of a serious catastrophic engine failure. Glad to see it wasnt a 5 gallon bucket of carnage!!!
