not mine but I'd love to try that. My friend offered me a free motorized bike thats missing some stuff, but the motor is good...

I could get a real cheap old bmx...

The problem with bmx bikes is they are hard to shoe horn an engine into. It would be fun though

Older american bikes were designed to be welded. Usually had 3/16" walled tubing. The chicago schwinns were famously spot welded in a hyper efficient process. https://www.sheldonbrown.com/varsity.html

On the board track replicas builders often give the frames purely cosmetic drop loops but I've seen a couple bmx builds that have a drop loop for function rather than form.
