Newbie with a Honda engine

Hi,

I'm a newbie and I'm putting together a Honda GHX50 on an old mountain bike frame with the kit purchased at bicycle-engines.com. I think I'm half way through

I have some mechanical attitude but I'm a biochemist, which means that I have no formal education in engineering, and I will have some dumb question along the way.

That's a whole lotta engine, you must be a big feller....

There are plenty of head slapping "coulda had a V-8" moments on the first build.

The thing is, over the years all my other two-wheeler have been Hondas. I'm just a Honda fanatic...

Welcome to the forum. it's a good thing you are not an engineer, because these machines don't obey the laws of physics very well.
