Stripped head bolt studs

I bought a bikeberry 48cc kit 2-3 years ago and have had it running off/on.

Recently I noticed that my head area is leaking alot of oil and compression is sucky. One of the head bolts is stripped. I don't know exactly what size I need.

Does anyone know, for sure, exactly what size bolt I need to replace it? Hopefully I can order the replacement on Amazon before I get home and won't have to open it up and measure. I'm riding my bike until I get it fixed.

Tap is M6x1 and there's no resistance. It just fell into the hole. My engine is 48cc what do I do

Then they probably are 8mm studs not 6mm

Don't worry you'll probably use the 6mm helicoil on the exhaust someday

The torque setting for the four nuts/studs on top of the cyliner are 144 INCH pounds which is equal to 12 FOOT pounds for most of these 2 stroke motors.

Correct, a few inch pounds at a time in an even amount on each in an X pattern.

Let me know how that one works out for ya...lol...lol...You will break it much worse than what it is already.

If you keep riding it like that where it keeps sucking in air, doesn't lubricate properly and overheats, and is riding lean you will fry that motor and turn it into either a boat anchor or 26 pound paperweight...Your choice...lol.

Fix it BEFORE you run it to avoid further damage.

I know first hand experience with this.
