Staton Crank shift kit w/ Honda gx35 $400- 100 miles on kit .

This is a new kit just purchased a few months ago, works great, engine runs great. These are

about $800 new, so this quite a deal. I will get some pics up soon...My circumstances have changed drasticly so I no longer need the kit.........................Thanks

I hope your circumstances changed for the better and all is well with you Bill.

Nifty setup, a rear engine mounted shifter.
Dirt cheap deal price too.

I'd drive over and buy it now if I wasn't saving up every cent I can to get my pallet of 4-stroke stuff delivered for resale.

I will miss the kit, they are a lot of fun to cruise on, I was cruising mid to upper 20's with a top downhill speed of 35mph (with trailer) , faster then my old GEBE. Anyway, I have my D.L. back now so I wouldn't be using it much in the AZ heat. These little Honda 4-strokes run great, just do the little maintenance each month. I am also intrigued by the electrics, maybe my next one will be electric. I'm sure Henry will enjoy the kit, the price is a steal, realistically that's probably close to market value considering demand alone, not huge. Peace out for now !! .....Bill P

Staton makes a gas electric gear box. One could use a GEBE rim pully to drive a low rpm generator to power the motor on the gear box then you have extra torque for hill climbing. You probable could even use the set up to charge a battery when going down hill or using gas only.

Batteries don't like our summer heat but summer is on the downhill slope now.
That will give ya months to explore e-bikes.

Fun stuff.
Expensive, but so nice to ride, especially with your grandkids in a trailer behind you ;-}
