3 inch rears

Has anyone successfully mounted an engine to a bicycle with a 3 inch wide rear tire? If so, what kind of bike and what kind of motor?

I'm looking to put on either a Nirve ****** tire or Felt Thick Brick to my Felt cruiser. Does anyone have anything to say regarding this?

This guy makes a killer sprocket adapter and sprocket for what I think is a very reasonable price. I know they work on the really wide rears. I bought one of his copper exhaust gaskets shipping was quick. It was a very nice part.

Ya he's obviously a Master Machinist. I was so impressed with his stuff. And $40 for that CNC machined sprocket adapter including a machined sprocket cut to any number of teeth you want. That's just a great deal.
