- the idea comes to mind that belt drive final on the lowly two-stroke happy time motor would obliviate all the issues with chain drive... and replace them with the issues of belt drive, yes I know- has anybody done this? I see where the Wizzer sheave is avaliable at a reasonable price, it seems that a tension clutch, the right size of drive pully and V-belt are all that is needed. Yes, I know that the HT motor already has a clutch, but I would like to avoid chain drag while pedaling w/o the motor running... plus, I am getting rather excited about doing some historically themed MBs and most such things ran off a belt prior to WWI.
