Are there any 49/50cc engines out there with a right-sided crank?

Hmmm. What if you installed a short jack-shaft, installed through the crank housing, with a left-side drive...

The Tanakas Are Balanced . the reason you can turn the head and it will spin backwards is the coil is cented so you can turn that also and it will stay timed

I too am trying to find a 49cc pocket rocket motor with the pull start on the left side it's been a tuff searching lol
