i plan on testing this idea on my bike wheel generator. i have the same problems but my rear light seems to hold up at 30mph but my headlight burns out at 20mph. in addition to the headlight bracket breaking off due to excessive vibration. ok, i plan on apply a resister to the connection on the front and rear connectiong wires. perhaps a 3v resister, tops 5, ill have to test how much the generator generates at top speeds before i can determine volt resistance.
