ok guys all progress halted for now or possibly today, cause we got a foot of snow and we have no gas for the snow blower i used it in my bike, so now i have to go across hwy 6 (a 4 lane road) speed is 35 tho to go to autozone, get 2 stroke oil, and to get has, and caerry a 2 gallon gas can with 1 hand or possibly 1 finger on icy roads, that should be fun :???: so ttyl

the peoblem is the screw it's a phillips and they suck, I always use robertson( for those of you that don't know they are square headed) the strip way less often but i don't know if they are available in the states

exactly! yes thats what i just bought, go to menards go to the tool section, and get 2 1/2 inch all purpose self driving screws, with a square head, i goofed and grabbed phillips, so ill be going back out in a bit, oh and i forgot to take my shoes for my shoes off, so when i went to go get gas for the blower, i was slidin everywhere, so i put my feet out-- biiiiiig mistake, in the middle of route 6 i dumped my bike, cause i put all my weight on my gollachez i cant spell it, and it was like i was standing on ice in my bare feet, my foot went right out frome under me, and you can guess what happened next, luckily my bike and i just slid off of the road and i did not geat dead lol

note: this all happened on slush

ok, here are the pics of my trailer, keep in mind, that it is not finished, and that leaves room for suggestions by u guys, usually i only use 1 clamp and i close it alol the way thats why it looks like its sitting on the ground, and the bikes will fit on the trailer, but i didnt feel like tyeing it up all for 1 pic, so the wheels r on da ground :) that said here ya go!

hey guys, the pics got moved here, cause i put them in the wrong spot..

k guys, i got the trailer vid done, not on the internet yet though, it is stil not done, but im glad i did a dry run brfore put the rails on, cause i drilled the hole for the wheel a little to high, and when i went over a speed bump accidently (i thought i was clear of it still getting used to having it behind me) it bounced, and the wood broke in that spot, it will look funky the wheels not being even, but its a simple fix, ill have the vid on by tonight though, right now the fog is soo bad, they closed o'hare AND midway, that never happpened in my parents' lifetime

Dude that trailer is sweet! I love your hitch idea. I have those chain links too!
You think it's strong enough to carry people?

chain links? i just used 1 hose clamp, and it holds me :) (200 lb) but make sure you drill the holes close to the bottom, cause i drilled one of em too close to the top (for the axle) and i dunno if i typed this but i thought i was clear, hit a speedbump with 1 wheel, and since it had no weight on it, it flew up in da air and comin down, the wood broke a bit, easy fix though but yea it holds me, and im SURE it would hold more, once i get the hole re-drilled, ill do a detaled vid with deminsions ans stuff, but since its made out of extra steps, it should hold well over 400lb

ok guys, i did the vid but its very dark, so ill re do it this weekend, i re-did the hitch to reduce sag, i mounted the trailer higher up on the hitch, so if i put it down, the hitch acts like a kickstand, kinda like semi trailer type things but i cant do the railis just yet till i can to to menards to get a new blade, i cut a 1x3 and it took me a 1/2 an hr.. guess that means ive been workin hard lol
