Can anyone help me with my paint job?

I would like to add, base coat/ clear coat is kinda expensive just for a bike tank and I would follow Gary's suggestion if I hadn't already had the paint left over from a major project.

I was thinking about spray painting the clutch and sprocket covers on the engine. Have u tried this? Does the engine on these bikes get too hot for paint?

You can paint the engine and covers. I used duplicolor acrylic enamel on my engines. It sticks and doesn't burn off

I also use duplicolor, but I use the engine enamel with ceramic. Good to 500 deg. For the exhaust you might want to use VHT. I think it has products with varying limits up to 1500 deg.
