Can I Get Rid of My Master Link?

Thanks scokes. Been happy with the new chain. Feel much better about this one. LOL

After buying 3 different chains, and manually running both front and rear sprockets on them ...I bought the chain recommended by Alaskavan..KMC K710 Kool chain..1/2 x 1/8...using the master link (it must face the right way)..painted the link with red nailpolish so I can keep an eye on it..chain and link look to be top shelf..understand a lot of bmx and freestyle guys use this one...415 chain did not fit well on front sprocket and looked like it would rub/gouge the motor case...imo 415 chain is overkill for 2HP motor

In my 27 years of riding all kinds of motorcycles, scooters, mini bikes, and bicycles on and off road, I have only broken 1 master link. That was on my first Briggs&Stratton 3.5 horse minibike. The chain was worn out, well beyond needing replacement. I cannot blame it for giving up.
