Carb clamp issue

I have been having problems with the clamp that comes with the nt carb the threads keep getting stripped and i think its just from riding so i decided to use a metal hose clamp instead and it seems to hold it on the intake much better any problems i should know about that this could possibly cause?

There is always a possibility of a vacuum leak. If you can find an exhaust clamp small enough I'd use one of those.

Its not that its too small the design is just s**t hose clamp works way better in my opinion

You need a little blue thread locker on the ones supplied with the carbs.

Well i think the hose clamp will work just fine

The clamp itself is fine, just go get a good quality bolt and nut so you can snug it down tight. The bolts with these kits strip if you breathe on them. Same for the nine rag joint bolts. Easy stuff like this makes them way more reliable.

The bolts are cheap. I somehow got away with rattling down the rag joint bolts a bit with my impact.

Use a T-bolt clamp and never look back. My 2 cents
