I brought my rear drive gear to a motorcycle parts department and we went threw the chains and found the best fitting chain believe it or not a 420 pitch fit perfect 125 links long I put it on and gone at least 1000 mi so far, one year so far, it is very tight fitting but does not rub in side the case the chain fits the roller and has not stretched it is made for a 125cc engine and the best part it is $13.00 for the chain and you will haft to bend the finder out of it's way .

Good thinking, and a good find. Welcome to the MBc. I'm glad you had the 'where-with-all' to go to a "motorcycle Shop" when a MB shop could not help. In this endeavor, there is always more than one way to skin a cat. Good luck to ya.
