    Hey guys,

I'm pretty big into surplus military vehicles and in my years of web surfing for surplus military stuff, I found these surplus Swiss Military bikes. 1920s up through 1980s are available. $350-450 for authentic vintage military bikes.

Pretty cool bikes. Would make for a sweet vintage looking MAB.

I'm torn between using one of these or a Felt MP for my build.

What would you guys think about doing a retro-cruiser build using one of these swiss bikes?

    Those bikes are the coolest!

Ironically, the Felt would probably look more "retro" to the uninitiated because it is more curvacious. Someone who doesn't know what he is looking at may mistake the more angular Swiss bikes for a modern mountain bike frame.

That being said- I would go for the Swiss bike in a heartbeat- screw the casual observer, the true enthusuast would really appreciate it.

I could seriously see one of these with a cylindrical fuel tank that hangs from the top bar.

    That would be perfect!
