In Maryland the max cc for a moped is 49 cc without a motorcycle license. (From what I read on mva) anyway. I want to buy a 49 cc "rebuild kit". Can I use a 49 piston and cylinder wall on a 80 cc moter? My problem is my proof of purchase said 80 cc and I need to prove that I have a 49 cc engine. Has anyone else in Maryland made a legal moterised bike for the roads? If so what did you need to do?. Of course there's no vin number so I'll need to get one made and from what I read I'll need to get it inspected. Any feedback would be nice
