Diamondback Serene can be converted to a motored bike?

Recently got this bike from FB marketplace. I'm wondering if this bike is convertible to a motored bike. (Wheel is 26''x2.1'')

I'm planning to put a rear rack for gas tank.

There are a few visible problems with that. It's a step through, there's a bottle holder, and it might be aluminum

If you were to motorize it I'd go with friction drive or rack mount

Without any fabrication a friction drive would work well enough but it wear tires super fast. There's also the option of using an electric motor. While the upfront cost will be much higher the lifetime cost will be much lower and the bike will have an easier life without the vibration of a single cylinder engine.

But to answer your question assuming a china doll is mandatory here's what a handful of minutes spent looking around found. I am sure more info could be found very easily.

It looks like a natural for a 4stroke if you are willing to weld the motor mount to the frame. Assuming it's steel.
