How can I lower engine without interfering with crank?

The engine should be narrow enough for the cranks to pass. There is wide crank sets if you need. Or, you can bend the existing.

My bt80 is sp wide the wide crank I bought doesn't clear lol. I'm going to have to buy another when I swap it to a hyper

Update!
• lowered engine
• made exhaust look like exhaust lol
• lowered rear wheel
• changed airbox for foam filter
• changed rear suspension location/angle

I chnged the crank on mine , went with the widest crank I could find and it still barely cleared on one side

You could always lengthen the chassis to fit the engine and crank, at the same time shortening the swing arm.

Well that was one of my changes I made

If you run the electric start bt80 geared low you can get away with no pedals. I do mean low though, like a 56 tooth. With gearing that low you might be able climb a dirt wall. Mr GW has run a bt80 with no pedals and according to him with a 44 tooth it pulls fine from a stand still.

It has pedals, just no chain and the pedals don't clear lol
