My name is Andy (of course), and I live in Franklin, TN, near Nashville. Wow, that sounds like an AA meeting introduction. The wife won't let me get a Harley (made the mistake of selling my bikes years ago), so I built a GEBE/Tanaka 32 instead. Well, at least I can get out on the road and have some fun, and it costs a whole lot less.

I have been lurking here for a while and have read some great posts. Excellent forum here!

    Yo Andy,

What kind of bike did you put it on?

My T-32 has at least 5,000 miles on it, and it flies. I'm going to soup it up this winter, see if I can maintain a 40+ mph on it for long distance use.

I bought a Novara Metro for the build. It's a good solid bike with decent wheels.

I really like the GEBE kit, and Julia and Dennis have been great. I'm still working a few bugs out, but it seems to be doing fine at this point. I went out for a long ride yesterday and enjoyed the nice weather and the smooth, quiet ride.
