you need to get something under it so the pin can move. A stack of washers, a wrench end, the mount plate for the bikes engine mount, a nut, any thing tht will let the pin slide out.
what size hammer are you using? a 5lb maul should whack it out in two three cracks. a claw hammer , you are gonna need some swing on it. Got to remember these are holding all tht power, and are deadly weapons if they break at speed. Those pins are hard af.There’s a nut under there

Well my biggest problem I think is my punch keeps sliding around when I try to hitBigger hammer needed, or a lot more oompf in your swing. lol
Yooo I did it. Took bulk cutters and cut the rivet in half on both sides to relieve tension and slammed the living crap out of it and it came out!I use a flat nose, round/ barrel punch for metal. flat lets all the force go to moving the pin, a pointed punch will try driving itself in the pin, and slide around. Use a pair of vise grips to grab the nut and chain to hold it still if you can. the plate from the engine mount, works better to hold the chain with the grips. then just put some wrench underneath, but you may bend tht plate if you dont brace it well.
