Interesting braking system from a long dead project.

As far as I can tell this company is long dead and they never produced more than a handful of these bikes. I liked the idea of using the sprocket as a brake rotor and I am curious if any of you guys have seen the same thing done by amateurs.(there's something quite romantic about being an amateur: pursuing something or doing something just for the love of it.)





 
People do that with custom vehicles all the time. Space starts to become an issue sometimes, and you have to find places to put things. This is pretty brilliant on a motorized bicycle though
The problem of grease from the chain on the rotor could be minimized through using wax instead.

A normal sprocket is made outta too soft of a metal

It's called a Scroter and yes they're made for custom M/C builds

Chain drive sprocket and a brake rotor all in one "Scrotter"
