First, I want to give a BIG THANKS to all you folks here that make MBC and motorbicycling the great sites they are.
For now, I'm parking the motorized bike, but it has been GREAT FUN, and I have ZERO regrets for building it, and the involvement of this great forum community.
I will continue to post once in a while, but I have no internet of my own, so I'll be here sparingly for now until things change.
This last year has been the hardest year of my life, health wise, financially, mentally, and more. Despite a hidden Suicidal Death wish since day 1, to crash on my 6.5hp bike, and my need to go ever faster, I'm still here, and I have more reasons than ever now, to keep on going. Depression is more of a killer than ANY motorized bicycle in this entire world. Thanks to you wonderful folks, I'm past that dead-end thinking now. I can't thank you enough!!!!!
Due to some deep-rooted family issues and circumstances, and me now being homeless without my possessions, and being in and out of jail recently, I have to move on from motorized bicycles. I'll spare the nasty details. All I have to say in short, is severe Depression and past Abuse as a Child while growing up, with vengeful parents, make a nasty combination for a growing adult, and Domestic issues, and I'm turning a new leaf and moving on with life. I'm just too old for this anymore.
It was the most interesting year ever, and I have met some of the coolest people ever! When feeling at the very bottom, the St Pete Tampa bay rides gave me more and more reasons to keep my chin up, set goals, and to keep on living life. I met some of the most awesome, independent, and intelligent, GOOD people, that really have a love for what they do in life, and I found the experiences of riding in St Pete with them to be very inspiring. Memories that will last years!
I want to let all of you know, I am thankful for the wonderful experiences brought by riding and building bikes, and meeting and talking to the cool people involved in this hobby. I have to take a break for now, but it's not bad news, but just a hurdle in the path of life.
I hope to build an AWESOME custom built frame motorized bicycle in the future, so I can ride it, and post pics here, and keep it going. I'm not done for good, but just for now. I'll still post and visit, when I have access to an internet connection.
I wish you all the best in your lives, with and without your motorized bicycles.
