Motor mounting question????

Does anybody know if the 66cc and 48cc Skyhawk motors are dimensionally the same where the motor mounts are located? I've made custom motor mounts for my bike and was wondering if I could someday swap motors from a 66cc to a 48cc without having to modify anything. The bike was built around the 66cc motor, and it's a tight fit. Both motors look about the same from what I can see in photos. I'm guessing they probably use the same lower case. I know that the head and cylinder may be slightly different, but other than that are all the China motors of this type dimensionally the same regardless of brand and engine displacement?

I can't say for sure, but I suspect that the crankcases of the two are indentical. You'll probably do fine.

Judging by the fact that distributors sell "L and R" crankcase halves only and not size specific ones, I think you can safely assume they have the same lower end.
