Hi guys.
Does any buddy know the crank specs of a cdh power 80cc engine?
I know it says 40mm stroke with a long rod, but can anybody confirm that's what it actually is.
I need a long rod ,40mm stroke for a Minarelli build and I bought two zedas that are supposed to be 40mm stroke, but where 38mm.

They make spacers for the different stroke cranks for your minarelli hybrid. I've heard the 38mm strokes minarelli hybrids spin more rpms.

With CDH, if they say 40mm in the ad, it's a 40mm stroke. If it says 38mm it's a short stroke crank. I buy almost all of my pieces for hand building from CDH. My last was a 40mm, and the crank stoke measures out at 39.8 mm.

CDH will also say what piston goes with the crank.

Thank Karl. This was a big help

I ordered a 40mm kit from Smolik like 3 months ago and I just got tracking # yesterday, so I'm kinda stuck with the 40 unless I want to wait again. I wish I did go with the 38 tho because finding a 40mm stroke has been a pain in the ass

So I got my cdh power engine today and let me say, this is one of the nices motors I've gotten to date. It was on-sale on Amazon for $87 tax and everything (out the door).

It was a long rod, 40mm stroke.
Not 39, mot 39.5, but 40 on the nose. As advertised.

Like I said previously I had order two different firestorm triple 40s and both from different vendors and they both weren't 40mm stroke and one had the nerve to try and charge me return shipping after obviously not sending the advertised motor.

I got my hybrid minarelli kit from smolik also today, which was amazing quality.

So after months and months of ordering I'm finally ready to start building the engine.

I dropped my Frame at the powder coated shop today to get a metallic red coat.

I have 17" moto rims with wiki front and rear hubs and hutchinson rubber (waiting on spokes from rebel)
Still need a pipe and front forks.

Probably going with a r2 low mount pipe and i have no idea about the forks. Haven't gone down that rabbit hole yet.

Gonna document the build from start to finish under a different thread when I start this weekend.
Look forward to some good input

Just curious, what's a ballpark number it is costing you to get your frame powdercoated?
With like ten other little things like headlight, headlight bracket, both crank arms, handle bars, mounts and so on, it was $350
I think u can find it a little cheaper,.
I got a quote for just the frame for $175.
I'm trying to find a airbrush artist by my to put something like this on both sides of the tank

You can get that turned into a dip job. Check out the dip painting, it's insanely cool how they do it.
