New member saying Hello!

Hi everyone!

I'm new to this bike motor thing. I recently made a friction drive using a 30cc trimmer engine. It doesn't have enough pulling power for the hills around here. So, I'm very close to buying a HT 80cc engine kit. I've looked at the BikeBerry kit and one at GasBike.net. Any comments on these kits? Will they be able to pull a 185lb rider up moderate hills? OK, I look forward to learning and spending time here on the site.

Glad you found us.

The 80 cc happy time has enough power for 185 lbs. You should do just fine there.

Some vendors have a better reputation than others. I don't think I've ever heard anything bad about bikeberry.

I think I did hear, though, that there's some fear that gasbike.net is not able to deliver what they promise. I hope I'm thinking of the right vendor there. Others who keep closer track will follow. And they'll be able to confirm or deny this.
