The bottom end is the same thing in both, they only changed the piston and cylinder. You probably got an old bottom end with a new top end.

Yes, thank god for the info. in these forums. My instinct is to immediately run the Meteor ms 460 piston set like Rocket. However, with the 6 month warranty maybe I’ll ‘Let It Ride.’

If you ordered from. BE.com they will honor the warranty

I did what I did because I had a V2. The V3nsolved most of the issues that were left. Just make sure it's clean and pre-oil everything during assembly. Port matching the intake is worth doing.
