removing jet from HS 142f carb for resizing

Hi, i bought an aftermarket aircleaner, and after putting it on determined i will have to drill out jet on the stock HS carb, i got the numbered wire gauge bits, but am wundering if i can just unscrew the jet out of carb , or do i need to take carb apart to get jet out.
thanks to anyone who can give me a little info before i start messing with one of the 2 carbs i have.

Carb question

You need to take the carb off of engine and then unscrew the screw holding the bowl reservoir and then unscrew the main jet and drill out. heres a pic of inside of HS 142f.
