I've come up with a great fix for the otherwize excellent Sunlite Center Stand [ dual kickstand ] I Added a 1/2" dia. shaft collar, which I set in Epoxy, and setscrewed it on.
I coated the outside with contact cement, and glued a 1" chair tip to the shaft collar. This brings the centerstand level with pavement. The stock Sunlite is a little too short when running ' brick ' or ' Kevlar ' tires.
See attached photo. Note, the rubber tip deflects a bit, giving even more contact patch, does not hurt ground clearance .
