That tears it! I'm going electric!!!

These engines require some knowledge of engine operation, tuning, and basic maintenance.

With that said, many including myself, have had near perfect reliability.

If you aren't mechanically inclined, you may discover that the electrics have their problems too (see threads about torque arm fabrication).

same here,i,v had spokes break,gasket,s leak but the motor never died once.920 km,s
 
It's funny how the grass is always greener on the other side. Whenever the batteries are dead I think "**** I want a gas motor", but whenever the gas motor is being a ***** and my hands are all dirty it's "where's that electric?"

How about a gas/electric hybrid?
