Whats the worst thing that has happened to you while riding your motorized bike?

Lol try this everything cool cruising down road motor running great breez in your face Suns out everything fine untell from out of knowhear bumble bee hits you in the chest OMG now your lossin control of bike fast first human reaction slap bee while he works his way down your shirt while changing hands and screaming while trying to stay in control of bike front end of bike wobbling bad while your trying to get some relief not. Then to make make matters worse in a flash you find yourself going head over hills thumping on the road in the gravel all the time leg dragging and rolling with bike gasping for air and relief while fighting with bee and road rash. Then you come to a sudden stop while looking up at the sky and notice it spinning around. Then realize you just had a very bad f up day.

If a bumblebee or honeybee lands on you, let it get the free ride.
They're harmless, unless provoked.
Or unless you're allergic to beestings.

While surfing, sometimes I'll rescue a honeybee floating in the water.
Usually, they're dying.
Rarely, they'll dry off and fly away and land in the water again.

Once, my wife and I were sitting on the grass having a picnic.
Wife had a pretty blouse with a fake flower in front.
Bumblebee landed and crawled into the flower.
"Don't move." I calmly told my wife.
Then I gently cupped the bumblebee in my hand, and it flew away.
I had a hunch it wouldn't sting, but I had to remove it anyway.
(My wife was stunned by what happened, not "stung".

Bumblebees, it's a miracle these heavy buggers can fly.
They remind me of those awesome CH-47 Chinook helicopters.
They're massive, and can carry more than their own weight.....
and then fly faster than their escort gunships!

Ask me how I know this.:)

Did I ever say I have a little pink girls bike? good to know... If you want to see my bike, look at my albums or posted pics!
I had a motorized copper girl's bike too.
First I installed an electric front hub and ran that.
Then I removed the hub and installed a rear friction driven Mitsubishi engine, and ran that for awhile.
Then I installed a front friction-driven Mitsubishi and ran twin engines for a time.

Then I moved on to midframed bikes.

I got hit just below the rib cage almost a week ago by some huge black ugly bug don't know if it's a horse fly or flying Beatle but there a huge red welts it itches and feels real gross and rubbing baking soda on it is not working, I repeat yuck, gross.

My worst experience?

Riding my electrified girlie bike downhill @ 25mph, I pressed the coaster brake.....

and it locked up!!

With heavy traffic behind me!!

Then comes the downhill slide, almost like laying a motorcycle down.....

for about 10 seconds!!

Thankfully, I never got thrown from the bike, and there was no exterior damage to me or the bike.

The coaster brake innards had locked up.

I managed to disengage the lock up, get on the bike and ride away.

Going slowly, I pressed the rear brake and it locked up again!
So I fixed it again and enjoyed the day.
I used my front brake cautiously.
The bike was fine, as long as I didn't use the coaster brake.

The next day, the LBS repaired the coaster brake.

I was 57 years old.

I had just installed my midframed CY460 4.5hp engine w/chain drive on my Diamondback bike.

Going uphill, the chain jumped and I hit the curb at 5mph.

I fell off my bike and braced the fall with my left forearm.

When I got off the ground, I had TWO left elbows!!

It didn't hurt much, but the bruise was the size of my elbow!

Back to normal in a few days.

I was 64 years old.

I visited the LBS and parked, facing 12" in front of their 20' high plate glass window.
(Eki's Cyclery in Kalihi)

I started the engine, the throttle stuck and the bike lunged high into the air like a stallion!!

Luckily, I had a firm grip on the handlebar and held the bike firmly.

If I had lost control, the bike could have lunged forward, shattered the window, and sent 20 feet of plate glass showering onto me!!
