Won't start

I will almost bet the red wire snapped off when everything shifted to cause all that other damage.

When I reinstall the magnet I have to be careful. Sometimes the magnet sucks the key out the slot or I push the key out the slot as I put the magnet back on. The key ends up behind the magnet or stuck in the shallow part. If the magnet is close enough to being timed correct with the key out of the slot...it'll start then fling the key off thereby doing something like his damaged magnet pics.
