Thanks. I got this tank off a donar Whizzer that was used on another build. I think Dave Miller of Fullerton made it. You can't see in the pics but it has the Whizzer logo embossed on the sides. I had to shorten the front end two inches more than I would have liked to make the cable drive reach the front wheel. My friend Richie painted the flames & it looks better live than these pics show. The flash from the camera makes it look pebbley. I need to do some more minor tweaks & then I'll post some good pics in the pic gallery.

I changed the crank & extended the right pedal to clear the CVT. This is a little narrower so you don't scrape the pedal during a U turn....

what is the plate to? just having it side mounted instantly reminded me of the bobber conversion i wanted to do to my sportster awhile back

The plate is DMV. Do you mean what is it attached to? The plate frame is welded to the frame.
