The light / electrical box on my fatbike is an old gutted solar lamp shell, with 12V auto overhead lamp retrofit LED squares. Kinda looks like it is, a bit bland and homemade.

I upped the ante. I took scrap pedal reflectors, bike front reflectors, and various zip ties, some glue, some clearcoat.

Now I got this.

Pretty pleased with it. Went today to get tags for my truck. Found some really great woodlands roads.
Kicker is, its private, all mansions and stuff, but a lot of it was never developed. Great for sneaky fatbikers to take Union Breaks.

I do smile at the camera hidden above the 'private drive' signs.

I got new bmx bars, a stem, a different horn, handgrips, a junction box. Reworked the wiring, cleaned up, lowered front lights. I think its looking more built now, and a bit cleaner.

Hit the city today. First stop, a former homeless camp. The first time this bike has ever stopped here, its usually a full-throttle zone.

Urban Fatbike is now properly dressed for streets.

They look really good on a cruiser.

But geez I rode for half an hour yesterday fumbling with my controls cause I moved them all! It felt wrong.

I can only imagine doing my hands-free, and reaching to grab the bars in the wrong place. Could be bad.
☹️
