that day has come.
i've tried 2 highly rated kits. the GEBE and the Staton and found that they both have positive features AND some compromises.
the hardware for both is first class and fully equal to their intened uses. i on the other hand am the exceptional user, not because i'm special in any sense but because i'm striving to accomplish some thing more.
i want the light weight and simplicity of the belt drive coupled with the durability and reliability of the gear/ chain system.
i have worked out the lay out and sourced the parts for a jackshaft belt drive setup of my own design and want to move past the prototyping phase, so.....
i'm selling the staton inside drive setup with it's accompaning dual freewheel rear...
I have a lightly used one for sale. $125 plus shipping from MI. Only the gear box with no adapters/gears/motor etc.

I have the DAX 70cc HT kit mounted on an older 27" ten speed (skinny tire) bike. I have since gotten a friction drive for my recumbent and I like it better, so after the 100 mile break in for the Dax, it has been sitting most of the time. Is anyone in central FL interested in it? Bike and whole operational kit $275, the bike is an older Nishiki semi-comfort bike (has small straight across handlebars, not the ram's horn ten speed type.)
i need just a motor. running. i want a motor with wrist-pin bushings, not roller bearings.
a bearing motor will work, i guess, if the price is right.
if you have dead motors, i'll buy the wrist-pin bushings from them.
thanks,
happy
I am selling a grab bag of HT 70cc parts. there will be a bottom end and two cylinder bodies, two 1/2 gallon gas tanks, ht engine carb, cylinder head, magneto, CDI, small sproket, etc. I want 30.00 for all and shipping.
Hey/Ho
I came across 2 square head engines kits . They are not complete.
I would like to sell them (engine & carb) for $120.00 each plus S/H
I have two of them . They are NEW never on a bike.
later/ mike / bikey
When I ordered my engine for my own bike, I accidentally ordered two engines. I didn't want to pay the shipping to return it so I figured I could get someone to pay the $225 for the engine in the box. It had been a month when the itch to use the kit took over. I found an awesome huffy down at the K-mart and had to HT it. I just finished it and man I am almost sad that I really need to get rid of it. The wife already looks at my other road warrior with disdain. It is so much smoother that my other ride. Of course my other ride is a mountain bike and frankly the frame itself would cost me more than the engine kit and bike did combined. But I digress. I am looking for someone in southern CA that is interested in a complete almost never...
I'm moving to AZ and can't fit the bike in my BMW, so I'm selling it for $100. Only ridden twice, brand new tires. Needs a new chain and a proper clutch lever, the chinese made chain broke on the 2nd ride. engine pulled strong when riding it, sounded good. No excessive smoking or anything like that.
Bike is located in Aliso Viejo, California. See pic of bike:

I am building some wheels with a Bendix coaster brake and a front drum brake setup. I am now finding out that these spokes are uncommon. I noticed new wheels come with them, but with hubs I do not want. Also, I am painting the rim itself and don't want spokes on them yet. I have searched and come up empty!
Here's a place that carries exactly what I need down at the bottom of the page, but it looks like they only sell wholesale!

Ordered a boygofast 2-stroke 49cc slant this morning. Will put it on bike of your choice for $275 plus cost of bike or you can purchase a compatible bike yourself and drop it off at my shop. Will also build and ship in the lower 48. Just don't want to put it on a bike then have a potential customer say "wish you had put it on a ------ bike!". Thanks for looking. Hope I put this in the right place.
never fired up. a 48cc with wrist-pin roller bearings, and intake. minus a rear mounting bolt.
