I bought the 66/80c.c bike kit and I mounted it on my bike fine and everything but as soon I put gas in the tank it started rushing out ron the air filter, so I read up and that means the carb was letting to much gas in so I tried to adjust the float and either the card leaks gas or doesn't let any gas into the motor and I think that's why it won't start, and thoughts would be helpful
This is an early Terratrike with drum brakes, an SRAM DualDrive 3×7 rear wheel. Modified kingpins with machined pivots and 16mm bushings to correct OEM crappy hardware, its rock-solid at 30mph. Added Big Apples 2.0, Terracycle chain idlers, lights bags horn blutooth stereo speaker. Electrified with Bafang BBS02B 750W version. DPC18 display, 48V 17ah battery. Brake and shift sensors, headlight taillight. All wires sleeved, junction box under boom. I did buy the programmer loaded software on laptop, loaded Karls Special Sauce into parameters, modified it a bit for longer gaps with shift sensor, slow starts, limited max current, some variation in the 10 tables of PAS assist, throttle response, so lower levels have less max throttle...
A Noobs first major undertaking. This started last autumn, this is a Cranbrook with GT6 with forced air velocity intake(scoop), high performance CD I coil, boost bottle, Voodoo exhaust, custom layback seat post, dual gas tank, 12 volt battery box with GY6 rectifier / regulator to power led headlight high/low beam, fog lights, tail light/ brake light, turn signals lighted gauges/ speedometer/ voltage meter, ground effects, it's been fun but time to wrap it up, I've went through the threads trying to figure out the best way to hook up the voltage regulator and lights ,if anyone has advice I could really utilize it and appreciate it.
Hello everyone, I am new here and I am interested in building a motorized bike. I currently have a Giant Escape 2 the size is small. I am buying a motor bike kit on ebay. Here is a link to the kit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/321245489833. Questions are: Will the motor fit on my bike? Will it work with the gear shifters?
I have posted a few questions in the past and I have read many questions from other guys and I read some very mean responses. Why? These are guys just like you who are trying to have a little fun and need a little help from time to time. I don't read the replies any more because of the high level of anger displayed. I am certain that I will get some hate mail just from these few comments. I love building motorized bikes and I really like to help other guys to avoid mistakes.
This Trek turned out pretty well. I can't remember the name of the engine off hand, but he paid $700 for just the engine. SBP expansion chamber and she can run with some of my shifters  The rear gas tank works well, and the thing really flies. Speaking of flying, my son is getting in to drowns with an HD camera but he's just learning. He tried to get some video of a test ride but the drone can't keep up with this bike.
I really went all out on this one. Initially I thought I'd do a 1903 HD tribute (black with white tires), but as the build went on, it sort of took on a mind of its own. The final result is comprised of Harley, Huffy, Whizzer, and even Puch components. Although the indian head auxiliary light is not really made by Indian, it still is a nice vintage piece from the 60's or 70's...
