100cc installing mongoose malus

I bought a mongoose moths fat tire bike and I also bought a 100cc gas engine? But I was wondering if I will be able to install it onto the fat tire bicycle without any problems? I have never installed a gas engine onto a bicycle before but I want to make it a new project to do? Any suggestions?

It all depends on clearances. The engine may or may not fit. If it does you will likely need a jackshaft to align the chain

On my BMX build, the carb was gonna be a really tight fit, so I used a bent one that I modified to fit.

As far as chain alignment, you'll probably have problems, coz of the fat tires. Where there's a will, there's a way. Weld offset engine mounts, or jackshaft it.

re the dimensions of a 100cc engine? And what is the use of a jack shaft? I’m sorry I’m illiterate? I thought maybe I could you tube it to figure out how to do it?
