2nd engine, same problem.

I never had a carb fail in any way after only four rides.
What are you doing picking on this guy?

I just installed the 2nd brand new motor with the old carb, it idles but dies when given throttle. Where can I buy a new carb for this thing? I've already bought a 99cc HF motor, but it would be nice to have these 49cc engines working too.

Several dealers sell the carburetor you are looking for. Might try Dax, or bicycle-engines.

If you want to PM me, maybe I can clean it for you, and save you a few dollars.

Try Affordable Go Karts if you want an upgraded carb.
This may require a linkage kit though.

AGK has lots of parts for the 99 cc HF too.
