About 15 years ago we had a waterslide,mini-golf and go-cart park called Wally World. It closed long long ago and the slides and go carts were sold to another park. A couple weeks ago myself and a friend discovered the go cart track is still there. The track has had lots of overgrowth over the years but after a couple of days of yard work we have made the track rideable. It's a work in progress still but we were doing laps for over 6 hours yesterday. The more you ride the track the more comfortable you get and the harder you start pushing your bike. Lol I got a little over aggressive in one of the hairpin turns, got into some loose stuff and dumped the bike and myself into the pavement. Gotta say I've never had so much fun wiping out. Also gotta say that my helmet prevented a serious injury as I my head was the first thing to hit the ground and it hit hard. Got some road rash as a souvenir as well. The track measures out at just under a 1/2 mile long. Just need to replace a pedal on the bike and the clutch lever and we will be back out there ripping around the track.

A cart would be a blast on there, any idea why the track closed? Next time wear more safety gear, gloves are a must on pavement.

I know it may look crazy wearing full motocross gear on a bike but it's worth it, I've had a few times that if I didn't have the gear on I would have been hurt riding dirt/motocross. 10 years ago I had four dirt bikes, I got too old and my reaction time slowed so I let them go.

The place was never that busy and at the time was just outside the city. Our other waterslide park ended up expanding and bought the slides and go carts. There are very few people if any that even remember there being a track there so really we have it all to ourselves. Man it's a ton of fun. I was wearing gloves and my helmet definitely gonna look into some body Armour cause when you keep pushing to go faster another crash is bound to happen.

Gear, yes. Idc if people laugh, They ain't even ballsy enough to ride.
It's non stop fun, I think we're going back on Monday for more fun.
Bout to head to the University to do some track laps myself. It's a parking lot though, perfect track, one long straight, or two ( depends on which way ya go), good turns and one tight U turn and one wide U turn. An the cops just come and watch us race it. lol. Long as we ain't a mob, Usually 2 to 5 deep.

Sounds like you were using your head, we need some helmet cam footage the next time.

What I could do with my cyclekart there??????
