I dont see it as a big issue, thats one of the slight drawbacks to a springer or girder fork.
The upper and lower pivots relationship to the frame limit steering lock.
As always ride looking about 50 to 100 yards down the road, be aware of tight spots or conditions that might require sudden or sharp maneuvers and it should be fine.

Just went for a test run, it wasn't too bad. I was able to do a U-turn on a two lane street. The rake make turning different than I'm used to requiring more lean and less handlebar turn. But its fun. More pics coming up
