Sprockets Are hub adapters any good?

I have to assume a hub adapter is better than a rag joint. I am considering buying a hyper cruiser and rebuilding my bike and I can't afford a good set of wheels yet. In the meantime I would run a heb adapter.

I have heard they have their issues, but I think it's better than the rag joint. Thoughts?

Maybe, I'll look around. I was just gonna swap my bt80 onto it and use some rim brakes and mybe OCC forks.

I planned on it. I have a 1 inch and a 1.5 inch adapter and if neither are the proper size I'll drill out the 1 inch one and use it.

All used bikes with disc brakes around me are 200+ and I'm not willing to pay that. I'll figure something out.

Same here, but if you're patient, one will pop up ever so often for 100-120.

If you find that it wants to slip, you can pin it with a roll pin. Be good forever then.

I'll probably do that from the beginning. I'm gutting the coaster brake anyway so I'll probably drill and pin a few spots while I have it pulled apart.
