One more concern, is there anything I need to do to the 3 spoke mag rims when I get them?

Probably a longer pedal chain, (I got mine at the local bicycle shop), as well as the freewheel sprocket that needs to be added to the rear 3 spoke rim.

GW, can you measure the diameter of your spokes on these wheels for me with a micrometer? I believe they are advertised as 12ga but want to compare them to the spokes on my Ambassador wheels which I may not wont to deal with the rust on them for $110 to buy these. Also, they are 36 spoke? Thanks

They are 48 spoke and the spokes measure 2.52mm with my caliper
